I fall daily. I am susceptible to sinning in various ways, I know this, I pray about it, it still happens.

The identity of the sin(s) are irrelevant.

What matters is my sorrow, repentance, and seeking the help of the Holy Spirit.

My sanctification is a journey that doesn’t end until I die. Sometimes the journey goes backwards. Praise God it is generally a forward trajectory.

Knowing I am like this, how can I condemn another who falls in what is essentially the same way (again - the actual sin is irrelevant). What matters is exactly the same.

Last Sunday I preached on the work of the Holy Spirit. He is our comforter and our helper. Please pray for whomever Murray is referring to, and anyone you know in a similar situation, that they may seek the help of the Holy Spirit, and can rejoin their journey with confidence that it is not up to them, but to the Lord himself.
